Hurricane Isaac by Moonlight. 
City lights of the United States shine through the clouds of building tropical storm Isaac early on August 28, 2012,  NASA’s Suomi-NPP satellite carries an instrument that can see in the infrared - beyond the range of human vision - and so it was able to watch the soon-to-be hurricane as it gathered strength through the night. The clouds seen here were illuminated by light from the Moon.
